MATERIAL FOR CHAINS

Satish steel works manufactures carrier chains,malleable iron carrier chains,stainless steel carrier chains,carbon steel carrier chains,alloy stel carrier chains.All carrier chains are manufactured and exported from India

1. Malleable Iron :
	Strictly selected raw materials are used for manufacturing carrier chains of black heart malleable iron which conform to I.S.I. Standards. It is the most appropriate material for chains which operate in filthy water, mud or chemical and acidic liquids. It is less corrosive, more durable, wear and shock resistant.
2. steel for chains :
	A variety of carbons, alloy & stainless steel are used in the manufacture of carrier chains. Such materials are purchased in extra quality grades of assure correct hardness, strength & other mechanical properties of finished chain parts.
3. Pin & Bushes :
	Pins & Bushes are of carbon, nickel chromes and stainless steel are used to manufacture pins for chains. All the pins are heat treated by case hardening carbonizing and are hardened upto the desired degree of hardness.
4. Side Bars :
	Side bars are of carbon & alloy steels which are being heat treated. Hardness of Side - Bars depends upon application and imposed loads.
5. Rollers :
	Rollers are mainly of carbon & alloy steels and duly case hardened to withstand conditions of abrasive and heavy wear.
6. Forged Chains :
	Selective carbon and alloy steel are used for making forged block type carrier chains links. These chains are duly heat treated to withstand heavy & uneven loads, shocks and jerks while in operation.
7. Slats :
	Slats are manufactured from selected quality of M.S & carbon steel plates.
8. Sprockets :
	Sprockets are manufactured form high grade cast iron, cast steel and alloy steels. These are duty heat treated, Sprockets Teeth are also hardened and normalized to give extra strength and wear resistance.
